Coruscant: Break Time's Over

Zanic's meditating was interrupted when a voice apeared in his head. The voice of his pupil, Dawn. Zanic's red eyes flicked open.

Meet me in the docking bay on Coruscant. He sent back.

Finally she had decided to come back to finish her training to become a jedi. Zanic stood up and walked out of his quarters. He walked down to the docking bay with his hands folded behind his back. He had his brown jedi robe on over his grey tunic and his two green lightsabers hung on his belt. He had not used them for a while. His black hair hung down in front of his eyes. He walked slowly down the flight of stairs thinking of what was going to happen next in the training. His padawan was getting closer considering he could feel her presence in the force. But...there was another. He felt another with Dawn coming. The aura of the force barely coming from the other being's mind made sure that Dawn was bringing a jedi or someone who had been a jedi at one point. When Zanic had met this being, he would try to make contact with Vegito or Trevor considering they were on the council and on Coruscant. Zanic had no knowledge of where Mark Kenobi, the third council member was. Whoever this being was, there was a lot of sorrow coming from it's mind.

Docking bay. Here you. Over. Out. Dawn sent, grinning as she dove straight down to the 'bay and pulled up feet from the ground.

Turning in the pilot's seat to Davik, she said: "Good landing, no?"

Dawn had come back to complete her Jedi training with Master Zanic Scorchi, and she was eager. Being a Jedi was another step to finding her past identity. Recently, she had headed to Tatooine to put some of the pieces back together. While there, she had met former padawan Davik. Last name... unknown. He was sitting in the back of her two person X-Wing, connected by a tunnel.

The journey had been a pleasant one and it gave Davik much time to collect his thoughts. He had convinced himself that he would not have a repeat of his breakdown at the Cantina back on Tatooine. For time that was unmeasured he had thought over what he would say and he finally had a general idea of how he would tell his tale. It was a conflict in his mind and stomach, however, and it made him almost want to vomit with just the thought of it...

However, his mood was lightened from that on Tatooine. Space travel always had a calming effect on him and he felt he could lose himself amongst the endless stars of open space. His attention wasn’t truly caught until they had landed upon the planet, its endlessly sprawling city drawing his attention. He had never been to Coruscant or any city-planet for that matter. The lights and the majesty of it all captivated him. He heard a voice, whom Davik assumed was the padawan’s master, telling them where to land. As he heard the padawan’s voice yet again, Davik was suddenly reminded that he had no idea what her name was. Feeling somewhat ashamed that he had not once asked her of her name despite all she had done for him, he ventured to ask it.

“I’m terribly sorry, ma’am, but what is your name?” It was the closest he had come to being eloquent in some time.

Zanic saw Dawn's X-Wing land in the hanger and he walked up to the door of the ship. He used the force to open the door. He walked in to see Dawn and a chiss.

"Greetings." he said to the chiss. "My name is Zanic Scorchi. Jedi Knight. I feel a good presence coming from you. Were you a jedi at one point?" He turned to Dawn. "I see you have come back. Ready to continue your training?"

"Calm down, it hasn't been that long!" Dawn sighed. "This is Daviik. Davik, my somewhat cryptic master. Don't worry, he can be fun if he bends," she added, glancing at Zanic with a glint of humor in her eyes.

Name, Dawn?

Say-wah?

NAME!!! Good Force, woman, name!

Oh, well don't get cranky...

Outwardly, Dawn sighed, then looked up. She had spent the last minute or so talking to Dusk, her deceased brother, in her head. "Uh... I'm Dawn Skywalker! Pleased to um..." I met him already! "Pleased to tell you my name?"

Ugh. Dawn, Dawn, Dawn...

Zip it.

(Yo peeps! We have all moved over to the invisionfree site. Please reply there as Vegito suggested. It would be much better for the forum if we all stuck together and didn't have to alternate between forums to know what is going on! Smile

(I don't think he is saying to drop the post Dawn, just copy and paste it onto the new site. Zanic already made the first post there (http://z8.invisionfree.com/JediSith_Restoration/index.php?showtopic=25) so just join up there and continue RPing. Terand and everyone else dropped this site so there is no point in continuing here anymore.)
