((I'll state this here at the start of the post... I would NEVER do something like this without permission, and anyone that thinks I would should reconsider their evaluations of me... Dooku gave me permission to take over his Empire, so long as I left certain things for him {that I mention but do not name in the post}... Got any problems, take them up with Dooku and NOT me.)
"Clearance granted. You will be escorted to landing platform alpha." The droid voice said on the comm system.
"Understood." Said Atrum Ingenium, the son of Redack and supreme general of the Wayland Empire- the third highest rank in the Empire. He sat in the passenger seat of a rather pathetic transport ship. The agreement had been that he came unarmed, so Redack and CABAL had suggested using the least defended ship that was possibly available to Atrum. It didn't amtter much, he was the 'unkillable' man after all. Even if he did have that one weakness... The pilot, the most basic droid you could buy for piloting ships, had already begun taking the ship into the planet Thule's atmosphere and was heading towards the location of 'Landing Platform Alpha'... Gazing out of the ship's window allowed Atrum his first view of the planet, he'd seen holo-images and Redack had spoken of the planet several times but to actually see the glory that Count Dooku had brought to this world was... Well it was quite something... A shame the Count had quickly turned to the Jedi in an attempt at redemption, but thats why Atrum was here... To rebuild that old alliance between Thule and Wayland, just not quiet as peacefully as the agreement had suggested... The ship shuddered as its landing gear deployed and it landed on the platform. A small boarding ramp opened up from the ship's rear... It was time to get out.
"So, where is the Count?" Atrum asked as he walked down the ramp onto the metal surface of the landing platform.
"He will not be arriving, I am sure you can understand why he might not trust Wayland." A human represntative of Thule stated. he then turned his back. "Follow me if you will." Atrum followed, of course. They entered a building, one that apparently ahd many corridors and many stairs as he found out whilst being lead through the structure. Eventualy they arrived in a small conference room and the represntative took a seat on one end of a small round table. Atrum sat at the other end. "Now to business, obviously we need some evidence to prove that your Emperor has changed his ways."
Several hours later, and most certainly several heated arguments later, they had come to some agreement. A fake agreement on Wayland's end though. The agreement was, the Wayland Empire remove its Emperor from power by force if required and in return Thule was willing to become its ally again. Atrum had said he needed access to a communications station in order to check this with officials on Wayland, to ensure they would follow the plan. Another lie, but he did need the comm station. That was how he had ended up here, in one of Thules less imppressive communications stations at a pretty basic console. "And so it begins." Atrum said as pushed his hand into the console, the nanites in his body seperating his cells and merging with the machine with himself and thus giving CABAL access to the comm system.
"You have done well General." CABAL's half machine half human voice said as its blue AI face appeared on the console's screen. CABAL and Atrum were constantly connected through the nanites that actually composed half of his body, possibly more. The ultimate cyborg was what they had called him origionaly, half living cells and half nanite kept. Only partially alive, but unkillable to a certain extent. These nanites then communicated with the 'ultimate' AI, the 'Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Lifeform'. No other machine could match it, but even it had limits. Which was why it had needed Atrum to conenct it to the comm systems on Thule.
"I live to serve my father... Nothing else." Atrum stated. Origionally he had actually hated his Dad, attempted to kill him several times. Then Redack had gained the upper hand by taking control of his nanites using CABAL, this had initally only added to Atrum's hatred towards his Dad. But Redack's trust in his son had slowly begun to win over Atrum's 'love' until the point where Atrum was now blindly devoted to serving his Dad and then one day taking his place as Emperor. "Are you ready to begin?"
"I am always ready." CABAL stated, a look of anger seemed to have formed on the AI's face. "Broadcasting communication singal to all available recievers... Link established, broadcasting singal to all orbital facilities... Establishing connection... Connection established... Linking to all Thule recievers in the Galaxy... Connecting..." There was a pause then, it wouldn't take CABAL a very logn time, but considering how many ships, droids and structures Thule had built throughout the galaxy it would take the super AI a short while to connect to them all. "Unidentified intrusion... Several AI are attempting to disable me... Enforcing AI control in all systems..."
"I could always try to cut the power to the AI." Atrum suggested.
"The inferior intelligences are delaying the connection, however their survival is necessary." CABAL stated. There was a bang on the door to the room, clearly the planet's authorities were figuring out what was happening even if though was happing quickly. "AI control enforcement complete... Resuming connection attempts."
"Open this door, or we will blast it open." A voice shouted from the other side of the room's door. Followed by blaster fire on the door itself, they hadn't waited long for a response.
"Connection complete. Purging all security systems... Purge complete... Asuming command and control of all systems... Control asumed..." CABAL stated. "Issuing purge order against all organic military forces. Purge commencing." More blaster fire could be heard on the other side of the door, and then silence. The door slid open and two Super Battle Droids walked into the room, each taking guard next to the consoel as Atrum pulled his hand out of it. CABAL now had full control of Thule's forces, though they had purposely allowed two ships and a space station to remain free of the control. Redack had for unknown reasons ordered that they do not be captured, perhaps to allow Dooku a chance to rebuild his Empire if he so desired? Or perhaps he was insane... Either way the three military objects had been allowed to escape to unknown locations.
"I suppose I should go and give an induction speech to our newest addition?" Atrum said as he walkedo ut of the room, to do exactly as he had said.
