Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Empty
PostSubject: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Icon_minitimeThu Oct 30, 2008 6:08 pm

Standing outside the steps of the Temple, before the great steps that led to the main entrance, stood in awe the night hunter of Naboo, Richter Belmont. At the moment, he was oblivious of his own his existence, his own thoughts only on the Jedi Temple itself. The magnificence of the structure, the historical importance of it, and the legendary Jedi it has housed once before long ago. The steps of the Jedi Temple seemed to go on forever in front of his face, seeing no virtual end to them as he looked from the base of them. He was here because of a challenge he made to a fellow, a Jedi no less. It was his intention from the beginning to encounter one who was emerged in the Force, but he wished it was rather a Sith, and not a Jedi. It wasn't that he think a Jedi would show a fair sport for him, it was that a Sith would be more willing to show off than a Jedi would, as Jedi as more mellow in their emotions. It was the discipline of the Jedi to control their emotions, and on the other hand, a Sith was taught to use their emotions as they saw fit, whether or not it was the emotion that would draw on the Darkside.

Richter felt for his side belt, feeling for his lightsaber that hung on it like a spider on a web. His lightsaber was from a Sith he had conquered once before some time ago, although he did not know it then. Apparently, the Sith he had beaten was a weak one, inexperienced and very inept for one in tune with the Force. He had overwhelmed the Sith quite easily, and looking know with the knowledge he now possesses, it comes as a surprise to him that it did turn out that way. However, he knew that it was not the kind of Sith he would meet all the time. Of course, it was quite the contrary. The Sith are know for being merciless, but very efficient in their work. The lightsaber was of a craft he did not know as he had no experience with lightsaber craft beforehand. He did, on the positive note, have a great deal of experience of fighting with such a weapon. In fact, it was part of his training as he grew into the flower of his youth.

He felt he should not any longer brood over what are now meaningless thoughts. Meeting the challenge he had just made to the Jedi is what he should be concentrating on now. The broad but shallow steps were before him, and he gracefully met each step with his left, then right foot. His shallow strides continued as he met each step to the Temple, as it was great workout for him to make it through. He could not keep the Jedi waiting. He quickened his pace to meet his anxiety, hoping to outrun it from his gut. But the steps were becoming time consuming to him, and the passage of time was tedious. He began to quicken his pace even more, coming to the point where he was passing the speed of a quick jog. At last, a great relief overcame him as he reached the summit of the steps to the Temple. He was not panting though, as he was used to such running during his teenage years of physical conditioning. The great entrance was before him, and he wasted no time entering the Temple and finding he was looking for. His best bet for the situation at hand was to find this Jedi in the training room of the Temple, the suitable place for this confrontation to take place. Seeing as how this was going to be rough, he had taken the precaution to set his lightsaber to stun mode as not to accidently cause an injury or death, to himself or the Jedi.

Entering the vast training room, riddled with stones on the walls and the statues, Richter did manage to spot with his eye the Jedi Knight he was searching for, being that he also made a formal challenge to him. He stopped at the entrance of the room, waiting till he was noticed by his soon-to-be sparring foe. He saw his sparring partner standing on a ledge, just milling around in thought it seemed. He quietly cleared his throat, but it was loud enough to get someone's attention. He eagerly awaited the signal from the other. The other came at him at astounding speed, and he wirled 360 degrees as he swung horizontally but as he was about to parry vertical, it seemed as this site just melted as his eyes opened and he regained his conscious state.

"What? The meaning of it, what does the past have to do with present?"

He sighed as he rose to his feet, finding his surroundings to be at the base of the Jedi Temple. The current form of the man was of firm and terrible build, one that could intimidate others if they saw his bare skin. His height was at 6 feet and 2 inches, with a well built weight of 200 pounds. Even with that height and weight, he could tread quietly and with graceful agility could he battle. His black eyes could almost seem cold at times, but his blue corona along his charm could sooth a terrified person. His dark brown hair was in the style of his clan, but was not extremely long, going down only to the back of his neck. All in all, he would seem to others a son of a noble family line. His apparel boasted a blue overjacket with a masculine dress scarf and the back of the coat just floated off like a cloak, with two belts diagonally crossing over his chest. These belts connected to one large brown belt just over his waist, slightly curved down, with a brown sash just hanging off. He wore brown leather gloves, with a gauntlet on his left hand. Lastly, his brown heavy walk boots completed his uniform.

He contemplated his thoughts of the events of late, not knowing what he was to do. He was a Jedi without purpose, for he could not find his peers, so vast in space and numbering too little. He lamented this plight, perhaps knowing that the Jedi were of no more use to the galaxy. Without purpose, without an enemy to fight, without an apprentice to train, without a peer to contemplate with, what else did he have?

"Perhaps the dream has something to do with my desire to accomplish something, but tis strange how it went."

For now, however, he attempted to continue his exercises in the Force, in the hope of finally understanding it so fully there was nothing to hold him to doubt about its prowess and its will.

Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Empty
PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Icon_minitimeMon Nov 03, 2008 5:36 pm

(I'm gonna make it short to get it rolling.)

~After with his encounter with the three individuals Siv Lauter, Dawn Skywalker, and Dusk Skywalker, the Jedi Knight had a lot of food for thought. A chance encounter with a Force Sensitive always had Vegito craving to make that person a Jedi, for he could be nothing else but a Sith in the long run if he wasn't trained right. He was hoping to settle his dark dreams down, and then make him focus on the important things which were good. After thinking the event over, he knew he had failed in that respect, but perhaps it would be possible to seek him out and meet him again if the Force allowed it to be his fate.~

"I won't fail next time. I'll make him see that there are better things ahead of him if he would become a Jedi."

~He came by the ruins of the Temple, which was destroyed by Ket Jia, for some purpose of protecting Coruscant. Vegito thought it reckless, because Coruscant always was the true center of Jedi activity. Now, he wanted to throw away the precedent of it, perhaps showing weakness for the Jedi's enemies. He noticed that at the base of the ruins, there stood a man clad like a nobleman, which was of strange material, or at least he didn't recognize it. As he walked closer to him, he looked at the man and seemed to recognize from sometime before, but he couldn't remember when and where. He thought to ask him, and perhaps he would get an answer, at least he hoped.~

"Hey you, I think I have seen you before. Would you help know if I'm right?"

~He stopped several paces from him, but he could see that man clearly, and he could feel an immense Force strength within him. If he wasn't a Jedi, maybe he could train him.~

Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Empty
PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Icon_minitimeWed Nov 05, 2008 3:04 pm

He was grasping the Force about him, trying to comprehend its call to him. He could feel its strength come about him, filling him with life and strength, calling him to a purpose in the galaxy. Within the search, he found a large solid object about the ruins, and with the Force he was able to lift and suspend in the air, and slowly brought it over to himself until he finally planted softly on the ground in front of him. Normally, he would have noticed someone approaching him from afar, quickly approaching him with a keen interest of some point. Before he would greet the stranger, he opened his eyes and inspected the object he called to himself. It was a boulder of many elements fused together by the apparent destruction of the Temple, and some iron and copper gnarled out, potruding from the boulder. He used the Force to press the gnarled and untempered metals against the rest of the boulder so nothing pointed out, ending certain risk to other individuals that may wander here.

Then on to the stranger approaching, he sensed the aura to see if there matched any resemblance to a person he may met before. After strong recollection, he was able to pinpoint his memory to another Jedi Knight he met twice before. Once, inside the Jedi Temple for a short spar, and another, when Darth Fenrir carried the uncoscious chap from Palin's Casino. The latter he had difficulty remembering what happened, but he could remember that he set this same Jedi onto a sofa inside the Jedi Temple before leaving him.

"Hmph, hehe. So it ye that has come to visit this place again."

Something of the memory changed him, allowing the work of the darkside to come around again. His faced changed, his hair, his eyes, and his demeanor become almost completely looked malevolent. He turned around, and his eyes leered at his visitor with a welcoming gaze of an Inquisitor. His left hand dropped near the lightsaber on the left side of his belt, that of which held the crimson crystal that cursed his person.

Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Empty
PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Icon_minitimeThu Nov 06, 2008 10:38 am

~As Vegito approached the Force sensitive stranger, he did so with caution. He wagged his head left and right, trying to get a good look at the stranger's face, but he couldn't get anything since his head was looking too much towards away from him. When he sensed the Force dissipate from the stranger, he came no close although he sensed no bad intention from the other one. Perhaps he didn't notice Vegito, but he stood still anyway. From the ruins, there seemed to be a large mass and rock and iron coming out and towards the Force sensitive stranger, and because he felt a lightside aura at the time, Vegito figured him to be a Jedi Padawan at least practicing his ability with the Force. But why was a padawan here when the Jedi had left for another planet as a the main base? He thought it was strange, but maybe he was looking for something.~

~After the boulder came down, Vegito seemed to have flashback to a padawan he met a few months ago in the Temple. For some reason, this person forced the memory to come out, but that meeting didn't seem important to him, so he didn't think anything of it. The stranger then spoke to him, but in a manner that did not like a greeting of a Jedi to a Jedi. All of the sudden, the darkside of the Force seemed to emit from the seeming Jedi Padawan, but it was very strong in depth. When his face turned, Vegito recognized the face and gasped shortly. It was him again, and something was wrong. It was like that person was reaching for his lightsaber, so Vegito fingers neared his own. He answered back in a coy way towards the person.~

"Yes, I have. I noticed you here. Are you looking for something?"

~Vegito kept his guard, not knowing what to expect.~

Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Empty
PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Icon_minitimeThu Nov 06, 2008 12:06 pm

An malevolent and ethereal cackle erupted from his chest, one that would send chills down the spine and strike fear into the hearts of the weak and the frail. Seeing how Fenrir had him down and out insomuch as to carry him on his shoulder would mean that this Jedi is weak, for he couldn't stand up to the power of the Darkside.

"Come now, if you think you can win."

Boldly holding out his right hand, he waved his fingers towards himself, challenging the Jedi Knight to attack and win. Then, in an instant, he pulled out the Malice of the Red Dawn from his left side and took an old-style fencing stance. His left side outward towards Vegito, and his right side facing the opposite direction, as his left hand pointed out his crimson-colored lightsaber towards his opponent.

PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Icon_minitimeThu Nov 06, 2008 1:21 pm

~Vegito didn't want to commence a fight in his condition. This person was suffering to something he couldn't explain, and he didn't want to fight him. He wasn't in a mood for a fight, and that usually worked against since he couldn't as well as he could like that. The darkside was building to a point which would control the person's mind, or at least cloud his senses. The person challenged him, but he didn't know how bad this was going to be.~

"Why do you want to fight me? Aren't you a Jedi Padawan?"

~The man didn't seem to want to spar, but was serious about the duel. But then, as he saw the color of the lightsaber, he was shocked. Perhaps this was no padawan, and a trap for a Jedi. This was probably a Sith disguising himself as a Jedi. Still, he wasn't sure. He thought maybe if this was a Jedi, he could bring him around.~

"Who are you?"

Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Empty
PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Icon_minitimeThu Nov 06, 2008 1:41 pm

Richter just watched with glee as the Jedi Knight wrestled with his decision whether to fight or not. His face gave away that he was thinking over the situation, and trying to find a way to get out of it. He wasn't going to stopped. However, before he was about to take the initiative and attack the defenseless Jedi, he put Richter to the question, perhaps begging his better side in a plea of sanity.

Richter wasn't about to let his alter to get the better of him. He was beginning to become aware of his doppleganger, but he still was not aware of the true of it. His face softened completely, and he wagged his head. He answered both questions quickly and in polite manner.

"No, I'm no padawan. I'm a Jedi Knight. My name is Richter Belmont. I have seen ye before, have I not?"

He was curious as to the attitude of the Jedi Knight, almost looking at him with pity.

"What?"

Then he looked at his left, hand and noticed the crimson-colored lightsaber in his left hand. His face went sour, knowing how many times to tried to discard the crystal, but it always came back him to somehow.

"Don't mind this, it is just a memento. May I ask, my good chap, the name of thyself?"

Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Empty
PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Icon_minitimeFri Nov 07, 2008 6:33 am

~Vegito was about ready to take a defensive stance, and then immediately pull out his lightsaber as the stranger would pounce on him. But then, there seemed to be a drastic change in his demeanor, as if the darkness had been pulled or lifted from him by the light. His eyes widened as the familiar stranger's face changed along with his aura, becoming more like a genuine Jedi in manner. His named was recognizable, for he had heard of a Jedi by the name of Richter being Knight by the Jedi Master Lancer Onasi by the news he had gotten from an announcement. It was true that they have met before. Only once did he remember meeting him.~

"Yes, we have met. I'm Vegito Rikhard, also a Jedi Knight, but I also claim seniority over you."

~He settled down and planted his fists on his hips and smiled as he said his seniority claim. It was almost like a joke to ease the tension. Richter asked a question.~

"What are you doing? You almost made me think you were a Sith. You must be quite talented if you can do that. Why would you keep a red lightsaber anyway? You must have a Jedi's color by now."

~He breathed, stretched and sighed as he tried to relax his body. There was too much tension left in it, and this helped him focus a little.~

Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Empty
PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Icon_minitimeFri Nov 07, 2008 5:42 pm

Richter scratched his head with his right hand as if he was trying to scratch out his memories and figure out what happened and what he had missed in the last minute. He didn't remember pulling this lightsaber. He was in a state of confusion, which was embarrasing to someone of his stature and bloodline. He put back the lightsaber where it originally was and apologized.

"I am sorry, Master Vegito. I hope I have not offended or brought harm to thee. I have not been myself lately."

He almost lost his mind, for the stress of his egos were growing, so he collapsed and had only his right hand stop him from dropping and injuring himself. He sat down, trying to get comfortable and medidate. But one could see he was struggling and his head began to roll around as one dazed and his mind far away. He become a sight most would pity, and it was becoming of a gentleman like himself. On Naboo, he had a reputation for not swaying under pressure, being able to control his faculties in any situation, but the state of him became so dire that it would be impossible for anyone to not excuse him. He head began to dip towards the ground, but before he went halfway he was able to recover his senses and shuffled back to his feet. He clenched his teeth and his fists, making apparent his frustration with himself because he thought himself disgraceful.

"Master Vegito, how may I help you?"

His weariness began to drop away as the light began to fill him again with strength. It was easy to see that the other Jedi Knight had some purpose here, and he needed some company anyhow.

~Vegito's head almost swung back in surprise. Richter's manner was so different than it was a minute ago. Was he trying to trick him along? A Jedi Knight who could do that must very talented in manipulating the Force to do something like that. Vegito felt more comfortable as the other Jedi Knight put away his lightsaber. Still, why would he have a red lightsaber? He was hoping for an answer, but it didn't seem like he could answer. Richter fell down as if he was about to faint. Then his head began to roll, but it wasn't freaky. It was like he was suffering, in some kind of mental agony. Vegito thought he had some kind of disease that mad him suffer.~

"Hey, are you allright?"

~Richter probably couldn't hear him anyway, so he didn't call him again. It was only a few seconds after that Richter was able to stand up again. He probably had some good mental practice and healing ability to get up so fast after that. It was weird to see him get mad after that, then just calm down and ask a question.~

"I don't know. Are you allright? You can't help me if you are in that condition."

~Vegito didn't want to Richter to know what he had in mind till he was sure he was allright. Some young person came from behind and said hello.~

"Oh, and who might you be?"

Richter shook his head as he just remembered what Vegito asked him when he was in his state of agony. It was proof to another that could understand his situation of how his dark ego was trying so hard to clench control over his mind. He smiled as he answered.

"No, do not worry about me. I shall be fine. Thou shouldst not worry about something to trivial. So, what doth thee seek? I have been searching for a body under the ruins, but I have not been able to find it here. It may have been destroyed in the aftermath of Master Ket Jia's effort to put the Temple into the ground for good."

He looked around himself, allowing his eyes to gather back in his surroundings. Then a young girl came among them, and was strange in the manner in that she just walked up to them and said hello.

"Young lass, what brings ye the ruins of the Jedi Temple?

He didn't think it was a fitting place for a girl her age.

Taking mental notes of the two men, she asked, "Are you Jedi?"

~Richter answered back to Vegito, telling to aleve his worry about his troubles. But Vegito couldn't allow that to drive it from his mind. For now, he would go along with Richter but keep an eye on him.~

"Sure, allright. Well, what I have in mind is to rebuild this Temple. I thought Master Jia was hasty in his decision in doing this. He is putting the Jedi in a shuttle in space, can you believe that? If anyone found them they would sitting ducks. I'd rather it be rebuilt by a Jedi than a Sith."

~The girl then answered back, and was wierd in the way she did it. She didn't even answer the question that was given to her.~

"You should answer the question better next time."

~He shook his towards her. Then he answered her question along with his own. A girl spirit he thought was crazy idea.~

"A spirit? And yes we are Jedi Knights."

~He shuffled his fingers against each other.~

PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Icon_minitimeFri Nov 07, 2008 6:46 pm

Richter gave an intent look at the young lady, for she gave him a strange feeling. His face returned to its usual noble appearance, allowing him to look less intimidating and more appealing to ladies. It was the face that was firm, and gentle to caress one's gaze. He turned attention back to Vegito for a moment, addressing his desire to rebuild the destroyed Jedi Temple. He had his own attachment to it, since he did spend so much time there in the last year and especially before he was knighted. He did is part to defend it, though through treachery it still came to fall.

"It arouses my attention, Master Vegito. Doth ye have any men that could help us rebuild it more quickly?"

The young lady was quite haughty, for she answered him in a manner that did not befit the question. He rebuked her with a light-hearted laugh.

"Young lass, I didn't ask about thine age. Be not so impolite or assumputious. What doth thou mean that thou art a spirit? Of what may I ask?"

He was amazed by impetous attitude, and yet perhaps impressed by her lack of fear.

~The girl made some kind of weird claim as if it was something special~

"You are not human? Many species can say that, such not being human or changing shape."

~But when she said she could change time, he scoffed.~

"Yeah right, how can anyone change time? How absurd! If you are not from this universe, which universe are you from?""

~He wasn't really mocking her, but he couldn't believe her, even though he was a Jedi. He never heard of something this incredible.~

Richter was not about to get an answer that was anywhere near a reasonable answer, at least to the point of feasible reality. The girl's claim of not being human did not pique his awareness, for there were many humanoids and other aliens not quite like man. Changelings were hard to find, but still not unheard of. But when she claimed to have some sort of supernatural that seemed unreal, then his interest turned to question her claim.

"Now young lass, it isn't right to mock us. Now, I do believe it is possible for one to have some sort of power over creation, but unless thou are what ye says, *cough*.., how about a demonstration?"

With great interest, he awaited her response to the challenge of the test. The Force was an incredible instrument in his life, along with another power that belonged only to the Belmonts, but this transcended them both in a certain manner.

"Alright then," says Ukushi. Turning her attention to the ruined Temple, she narrows her eyes and opens her mind. Seeing the explosion in her head, she saw one piece go flying. Relaxing, she thought of that one piece never falling.

Opening her eyes, and extra piece was on the ruined bottom. "Proof enough?"

~Vegito waited with a smile on his face, kinda anticipated failure or something that she would claim was proof but something too small to be considered significant proof. Then she said something, and he could only shake his head.~

"What proof? Where?"

~He was a little aggravated by the fact that she insisted on her powers without showing anything.~

Richter crossed as he continued his watch of interest. Finding an individual that could manipulate space and time would be considered impressive, even though he considered what he had seen during his lifetime, and also the knowledge passed down to him by his family. The girl Usuki turned her face to the ruin and her sees suggested a matter of concentration. Then she opened her eyes and made her claim.

"Would thee mind showing thine proof? Where is it? I'm sorry, but I do not see anything."

He looked at the structure of the Temple, looked around, and found nothing. Perhaps he wasn't seeing what she had manufactured, but whatever it was did not enter the realm of credibility.

Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple Empty

(Unless Terand told you IC, you would not know Ket blew up the temple, nor has Ket tried to put the jedi in a mobile ship. If he had, there would be a ship.)

The ground crumbled underneath the jedi masters feat, the sounds of rubble shifting against the stone base with each step. Eye's peered from within a pool of darkness cast by the hood of his cloak. From the shadow they stared, locked upon the jedi that stood among the ruins... the ruins that he had created. However it was with the destruction of the jedi temple, that it would done with much thought. And now the jedi would hope to rebuild it, as they had done time and time again.

"There can be no temple on Coruscant!" A deep voice bellowed as Ket glided across the ruins towards the two jedi.

As he spoke, wrinkled hands pulled back his hood, revealing the friendly face that adorned Ket. He was an older man, older then the jedI before him. His hair, gray and aged, with weathered skin that held markings of a lifetime. His clothing was traditional for the jedI, though taking a more custom look to the colors. A white cloak blanketed him from the cold wind, where beneath a dark brown tunic clothed him. His pants, a dark brown as well stretching down to ragged lace less leather boots. Beneath his cloak, a utility belt common among jedi hung, carrying his light sabers and tools.

“The jedi temple was once a monument to justice and the jedi order. It was once a symbol of the protection the jedi order brought to Coruscant. However, the jedi had failed to defend Coruscant time and time again, and devastation as resulted because of the jedi temple. A target is all that became of it, and with it the jedI temple brought wave after wave of destruction. The jedi temple will be rebuild! But not here… not Coruscant. The people of Coruscant have suffered enough."

Turning, Ukushi again used her mind to make and even bigger piece return.

"Why not here? This land is home to all Jedi. Let this remain as a memorial to what has happened here. This place is important and will stay," she said, turning to the older man. "And... Vegito, is it? Vegito, here is the proof." Bending the space around her, the dust under the peoples feet became fine and ice-like.

(Ket, Terand told me and I used the Force to uncover the truth. All legal as far as I know.)

~Making a noise from within the ruins, there Vegito noticed a familiar sensation, an aura coming from a Jedi Master. He was probably there to overlook his work, and maybe to tell off Vegito to stay away from this place. Vegito braced himself for a reproach from the Jedi Master, but Vegito would want to explain why he was here and why he would be doing what he was planning to do.~

"Why not Master Ket? Hasn't it been here for over a millenium?"

~He was a fairly old man, but pretty darn healthy and fit and still able to handle himself in a battle. As a Jedi Master, Vegito could not disrespect his elder and superior, but if he had to he would resist him.~

"But we have continue to stand our ground here Master Ket Jia. If we don't keep ourselves here, the Sith could take it over and with Coruscant being the center of Galactic activity it is vital that we do not give it up. I understand your sentiments, I disagree with your decision. As it is, I don't think you have the authority to do this anyway. I think you should rethink this. If anything, at least allow me keep watch over this planet."

~Vegito was pretty candid with the Jedi that outranked him, and begged that he would think this action over.~

~Turning his attention back to Usuki for a moment, he wasn't able to pay attention to what she did until he saw the ground. What she did could be done through the Force, so answered back to it.~

"I'm sorry Usuki, but I'm not convinced. I could do that to, since it is possible for a Jedi to freeze the ground as well."

~He awaited an answer from both. Still, he hoped Richter would lend his voice to the problem.~
