Reunited on Lok (Redack)

~The former Jedi Master Helius Tak with several of his cloned Helius', bodyguards, and various other minions traveled to The Core on Lok. Helius was taking no chances on this wasteland planet. He did not want this meeting to be known about nor did he want any...annoyances.

So his small armada traveled upon a Floating Barge surrounded by ten X-wings and the like as they approached the Core. If Helius remembered right, the Core would not attack him unless provoked. If not, there were other ways of dealing with defenses, though, Helius knew there would be no problems here.

The small group stopped a mile outside of the Core for breathing room, and so Helius could get the attention of a certain individual he had met a long time ago. Helius knew this individual and was thus taking every percaution in the book considering this individual was as dangerous as Helius.

Several Storm Troopers set up a shield generator; however, it was not an ordinary shield generator. Yes, it would produce a shield for a 1/2 mile distance in all directions, and it would withstand a turbolaser for a little while; but it served a purpose beyond that. It also had a high impact Ion Bomb near the power supply. If trigured, it would wipe out any electronic device in a 10 mile radius well within the Core's reach.

Helius knew he would have to get Redack's attention somehow if he wanted to talk to him. That is where two of the X-wings that accompanied him came in. The two X-wings were ordered outside of the shield. They flew towards the Core and began firing...if any luck, this would get Redack's attention.~

((Well actually, CABAL's Core defences would probably just shoot you if the AI wanted to... Regardless of if you'd attacked or not But either way I suppose it doesn't matter.))

"Advanced weapons systems detected, all defence units will converge." CABAL said inside its core. Atrum, who had only recently returned from Thule, sat in a chair watching a green holo-projection of troops on a barge with several x-wings circling them in what was probably their standard defence pattern. The projection changed and displayed a large bubble around barge, some form of shield according to the readings that were being displayed along with the 3D projection. The detail provided by the projection was pretty impresive, it could show energy readings, weapon strength and even to the point of providing detailed stystem designs of all known vehicles and spaceships, to the point of showing where critical systems are and where best to target in an assault. Not that those were needed in this case.

"Two of the x-wings are breaking formation." Atrum said. CABAL was already way ahead of him in that thought process and had activated its Core's shield. When the x-wing's weaponry eventualy hit, it only did minor damage to the shields. CABAL of course retaliated, by draining half the shield's strength and release it in a sort of pulse. If the x-wings were in close proximity they would be completely vapourised, but if they were a fair distance away they'd get knocked, possibly suffer minor damage... Enough to give them a warning. The range of the pulse itself wasn't enough to possibly reach the floating barge, though if alot of power was draiend from the shields and other non-critial systems then the pulse could in theory be strong enough to reach the barge and do some serious damage. But at the same tiem leaving the core on Lok defencless. "They wants to talk." Atrum then pointed out. "If he wanted to destroy the core he would've brought alot more firepower."

"Their shield has ion bomb technology intergrated into it... Probability of entire core shut down upon bomb detionation... 90%... Probablity of your survival upon bomb detonation... 0.00000001%." CABAL stated.

"If they wanted to destroy your core, they would have already." Atrum suggested. he then got otu of his seat and began walking out of the core. Then eventually he reached the exit and jumped on a speeder- ones used to quickly get between the Wayland Empire's structures on the planet, using this hem anaged to quickly pass the fast moving cyborg defence quads that were following CABAL's orders to converge on the barge. He quickly reached the location of the floating barge, where hopefully he would be given a way to get onboard and speak with who he asumed was Helius... If it wasn't Helius, then someone else other than Helius and Redack had developed the ion bomb... Though even Redack had used specs given to him by a Helius clone...

~The X-wings were ripped to shreds by the mighty blast of the shield of the Core. Helius smirked. His only thought was that at least it got Redack's attention.

Soon aftewards, Helius spotted the traveler, and ordered the shield offline. He also ordered the rest of the X-wings into a defensive perimeter that would patrol the area. Helius was the only one on Lok who knew of the Core's location, but one could never be too cautious.

Helius did all of this with a wave of his hands, and with that wave, it was done. Now, Helius with his blue robes and lightsaber would await his visitor.~

Atrum boarded the barge and was then escorted to Helius. He did bow or salute, not even a friendly hello. Though Atrum was here peacefully, he was not here to give respect to someone that had pretended to attack CABAL.

"Helius I asume?" Atrum said. He'd seen images of Helius in CABAL's archives. In some cases Redack had entered that Helius was a 'potentially high risk' to opperations and in one rare occasion he had even go so far as to comment that Helius was his equal in technology.

~Helius nodded at the individual that had been brought to him.~

"You presume well. Though, I must admit that I was hoping for your master that is if he is your master."

~Helius didn't really care if Redack didn't show up. They were both very busy individuals in the galaxy nowadays. He wanted to get to the point in their discussion.~

"I have a proposal for Redack in which both of us prosper handsomely. Do you wish to discuss further details now or should I destroy the Core to really get Redack's attention? Do not think that I cannot, for I could and would."

~Helius added this needless threat to make sure that this lackey of Redack's knew that he meant business.~

"I'm sure my father would care little if you destroyed one mere secondary core." Atrum said. "However, I am willing to listen to your offer."

~Helius' ears perked up on that one...Father...interesting.~

"It would just not be this one, little one. I possess the power to wipe out your entire race and then some. Do not tempt me."

~Helius then went onto more present matters.~

"I have pestered your Father enough, and have decided that we would both profit if we were allies instead of what we are now. Would you agree?"

"The Wayland Empire is in agreement." Atrum stated. He ignored the threat, Helius might know where one Wayland Empire isntallation was... But the chances of him knowing where everything was were very slim.

~Helius nodded.~

"Very well, I will send this clone of myself as a token of good will and a way of getting ahold of me immediately. I'm sure your Father will find this clone of myself very intriguing. Do not cross him though...he holds almost the same power as I. It would not be beneficial to do so."

~A cloned Helius stepped further into the light from the gathered crowd on Helius' barge.~

"You both like yourselves too much." Atrum muttered to himself, refering to how both Redack and Helius had a seemingly endless number of clones. Though most of the Redack clones were either in stasis or had no idea who they were yet. "Your clone won't be allowed full access to any of our more important facilities, as much as we want this alliance to work. I'm sure you'll understand when i say we can never trust you fully."

~Helius chuckled on the inside.~

"Same here. Though I am willing to make certain concessions if you are also willing to do so..."

~Helius was more interested in technological advances for both of them. The galactic empire thing was just an added bonus.~

"That would depend upon what they are." Atrum said, he asumed it would be similar demands- but he had to be sure.

~Helius nodded.~

"In the past, we have shared similar ideas and goals...your Father and I. I merely ask to be treated as equals and on occasion share technological advances and technology. It is better that we work together in this way then apart. Both of us would equally share the designs based on technologies and advances I could create."

"Then it shall be so." Atrum stated and offered his hand for Helius to shake.

~Helius shook Atrum's hand.~

"This shall be profitable indeed."

"There is an issue that our Empire has currently... Discovered..." Atrum said. "Though the Jedi are no longer apparently any danger to our plans, they could easily slow us down... We would appreciate it if you could. Distract them for us."

~Helius was silent for a moment.~

"That should not be a problem...there is no Council at the moment. My next question is...how big and what are you willing to give to aid me in my...distraction?"

"Enough that they don't watch the movements of the Wayland Empire, until its too late and Coruscant has fallen." Atrum stated. "Because we asume the best way to get the Jedi's attention to is harm civillian populations, we'll be downloading our 'beaming' technology to you. This technology basically 'sucks' anything caught in its beam up and places them somewhere clsoe to the beam's emitter. We tend to use it to beam troops into our transports for faster evacuation.... It can also be used to beam things down aswell, such as bombs. or even beam a person into a sea..."

~Helius smiled.~

"That is a very useful invention. Do they have to have some sort of transmitter to be beamed or can it just be done with just their location?"

~Helius was already thinking of the possibilities of this technology.~

"Or am I to assume that will be explained with the data being sent to Dome City?"

"A direct beam of light in a straight line from the emitter... Although with tracking beacons you could both amplify the functional range and efficiency of the beam." Atrum replied. "But instructions and further details will be sent with the technology's specifications."

~Helius nodded.~

"Very well. Is the distraction the only concession you wish to state?"

~Helius ordered one of the remaining X-wings down from the sky. He took out the pilot with a quick move of his lightsaber. Helius would then hop in and end this conversation. The data was being sent to Dome City where research and production would commence.~

"No witnesses."

~The X-wings after some distance from the core destroyed all those who were on the barge. The clone Helius was left behind with Atrum. Then the X-wings went after each other. The X-wing that was left was destroyed by Helius afterwards Helius went back to Dome City.~
